In this role, you will work with multiple teams to facilitate the planning and successful delivery of client projects through the full project development lifecycle. As a Scrum Master, you will empower our teams as a servant leader, monitor team performance, and remove any impediments that block sprint goals. You will apply Agile values and principles, and the Scrum or Kanban framework to optimize value delivered, coach and support our teammates, and promote self-organization and continuous improvement for high-performing teams.

Our ideal candidate is a collaborative problem solver with a passion for servant leadership and proven experience in practicing Scrum principles to guide teams in producing high-quality work.

Note: this position is remote and can be anywhere in the US.

In This Role, You’ll Get To

  • Support multiple enterprise-grade product development teams that focus specifically on digital technology-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with and support the Product Owner, Designers, and Developers to ensure alignment on the product roadmap and sprint goals, deliver incremental value each sprint, improve squad processes, and develop sprint reports.
  • Communicate and mitigate impediments, risks, concerns, and cross-team dependencies to the appropriate leader to maintain team velocity.
  • Collaborate with the other Scrum Masters to champion Scrum practices and values within and across teams, coach others on these practices, and align and guide the teams to self-organize to maximize the value delivered.
  • Facilitate scrum rituals, meetings, tool configuration, and any necessary decision-making processes for the team (including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews/retrospectives, etc.).
  • Monitor, analyze, and present team performance reporting and analytics including burndown/burn-up charts, sprint velocity, capacity planning, sprint status, defect tracking, etc.
  • Facilitate backlog refinement meetings using relative effort estimation techniques and ensure clear and concise product backlog items. Support the Product Owner as needed to prioritize the Product Backlog to maximize value.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating initiative, servant leadership, proactive communications, consensus building, adaptability, and teamwork.

We Want Someone Who Has

  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master and a strong understanding of Agile principles,
  • Proficiency and propensity for servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, team empowerment, and transparency,
  • Ability to assess the Agile team's performance based on results and delivery patterns and drive continuous improvement through the application of the appropriate Agile techniques,
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate proficiently (both verbally and in writing) with internal and external teams, including virtual team members across multiple time zones,
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience working with both business and technology teams,
  • Familiar with Jira, Confluence, Slack, Miro, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office tools,
