RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Scrum Master in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (FL).Summary:The role of the Scrum Master is to develop and support the agency's enterprise data applications and platforms. We use Agile delivery model to design, develop, and support our applications in a hybrid Scrum/Kanban model. This client is seeking talented Scrum Masters who have experience working with teams to deliver software projects in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities include:

• Organize and facilitate agile framework ceremonies for agile teams
• Scrum Master identifies, tracks, removes impediments for feature/project and team success
• Ensures planning of go-live and deployment activities and facilitate their execution
• Ensures that all team members understand and accept their roles and responsibilities
• Scrum Master monitors sprint velocity and works with team to determine how they can continue to improve on velocity and recognize additional efficiencies as they mature
• Tracks and reports key project metrics, informing stakeholders as appropriate
• Coordinates participation of different Technology and business groups in requirements gathering specifications, design, development, and implementation of key projects
• Learns, understands, and actively uses Azure DevOps to effectively manage the team's backlog and sprint-committed items
• Facilitates change management strategies related to team backlogs to ensure value delivery is optimized
• Scrum Master may resolve conflict between team members
• Facilitates the creation of product and sprint backlogs
• Maintain process documentation in collaboration with other Scrum Teams
• Scrum Master will serve as liaison between technical and non-technical departments

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Scrum Master Certification
• 8+ years in IT in technical or project management experience
• 5+ years of experience in Agile software development environment
• Experience with agile development tools, Azure DevOps preferred
• Understanding of end-to-end design, development, delivery of enterprise software applications with highest quality, reliability through thorough unit, integration, and/or system tests
