As a Scrum Master within PNC's ACFR organization. This is a hybrid position which provides flexibility to work both in the office and remotely and is based in either Pittsburgh, PA or Birmingham, AL or Cleveland, OH or Dallas, TX. Certain job responsibilities may require time in the office on a regular basis.
Track team performance and provide reporting to management as needed:
* Guides and coaches one or more Scrum Teams on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers while aligning to PNC's agile process.
* Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.
* Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the teams adhere to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
* Coaches the Scrum teams in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum teams.
* Works directly with the product owners and provide guidance to product owners in agile and scrum
* Works with Scrum Team (and other teams as needed), as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.
* Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
* Works with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters to grow within the role.
* Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
* Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
* Assist the team with preparing for delivery planning (program increments) and participate in the delivery planning efforts, participate in scrum of scrums and any other project event as established by the project team
* Acts as a leader who coaches and supports Agile teams assigned to mainly Business as Usual (BAU) work and to a lesser degree, important department initiatives and applicable portions of corporate projects and initiatives.
* Supports and facilitates generally one to two Scrum Teams in various functions by fostering Agile values and practices.
* Ensures team adherence to Agile principles. Provides coaching to the Scrum Team(s) on how to execute the Scrum framework.
* Organizes and facilitates ceremonies, identifies improvement opportunities to optimize velocity and quality while mitigating risk. Tracks and communicates the overall team progress providing visibility to stakeholders.
* Serves as a filter to remove impediments to progress as identified by the team. Protects the team from outside influences to ensure the team remains focused on Scrum Team priorities.
* Partners with the Product Owner to ensure the backlog items are prioritized based on business value and ready for the team.

Interpersonal Relationships - Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
IT Standards, Procedures & Policies - Knowledge of and the ability to utilize a variety of administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to manage organizational IT policies, standards, and procedures.
Listening - Knowledge of effective listening issues and techniques; ability to gather, clarify, and apply information transmitted verbally, while exhibiting a genuine interest toward the speaker.
Planning and Organizing - Mobilizes both time and resources to get things done.
Problem Solving - Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
