Position Description:

Seeking a Scrum Master, who will provide Agile transformation leadership and hands-on expertise for a large federal client. This position has an opportunity to leverage scrum principles, coach team members to high levels of Agile maturity, and help transform the team and work with the product owner. The candidate must have a passion for applying agile best practices and be self-motivated. The candidate should enjoy mentoring other team members and collaborate with other scrum masters.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Collaborate with Product Owner to refine backlogs.
Lead Daily Scrum Calls, Sprint Planning, Backlog Management, Sprint reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
Identify and mitigate any external dependency risks.
Maintain transparency into the team's work through metrics.
Participate in the scrum of scrums.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 5+ years of related Systems Analysis or Project Management/Scrum Master work experience in Information Technology.
• Experience in working closely with Customers to refine user requirements into user stories.
• Experience in managing backlogs, task management, estimating, and managing team velocity.
• Strong analytical skills, proficiency in root cause analysis, and ability to solve business problems.
• Experience estimating large-scale projects
• CSM Certification OR PMI-ACP certification required

Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree
