The Role

As a Scrum Master, will blend deep scrum expertise with a passion for mentoring and coaching, and constant improvement. Will advise, mentor, coach and train on performance against agile values, practices and processes to accelerate squad value delivery. In partnership with the squad leader, will maintain a backlog, help to remove impediments and facilitate agile ceremonies such as the daily stand up, sprint planning, backlog refinement and retrospectives. Will have responsibility for release management coordination and participate in scaling ceremonies and activities as you manage interdependencies across squads and tribes. Will examine and drive team performance through metrics and find opportunities for the squad to fully realize the benefits of working in an agile structure!

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Proven grasp of and experience with Agile practices and processes in a software development environment
• Working with squad and chapter leaders to enable delivery of the squad's mission through well-executed sprints
• Accelerating overall squad performance, efficiency and value delivered and find opportunities to improve agile maturity and metrics, and providing coaching, training and resources
• Managing, coordinating logistics for and participating in agile ceremonies (e.g., backlog prioritization, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives and as appropriate, scrum of scrum masters)
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or equivalent experience working as a Scrum Master
• Bachelors or undergraduate degree preferred
• Experience with Jira and Jira Align, a plus
• Financial Services experience preferred

The Team

The Forms Digitization squad focuses on delivering digital forms experience as part of Wealthscape’s Digital Transaction Experience (DTE), a digital account onboarding and account management platform where institutional financial professionals bring their clients’ plans to action. As a leader on the team, you will have the opportunity to drive meaningful improvements and value delivery on this critical initiative. You will be part of a highly innovative software engineering team that delivers solutions in support of our FI Business partners.
