Genesis10 is currently seeking a Scrum Masterfor a contract lasting through April 2024 working onsite with an insurance company in Milwaukee, WI.

Our organization has 12 teams with only one scrum master and a program lead to administer the Product Increment (PI) process and ensure adherence to standards and guidelines. This role will mirror our existing scrum master and support the teams to optimize the teams' performance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the scrum teams in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
• Helping the product owners and development teams to achieve customer satisfaction
• Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization
• Remove impediments and mentor the scrum teams on removing impediments
• Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework
• Resolve conflicts and issues that occur
• Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
• Support the product owner and provide education where needed

Qualifications:

• Prior experience on a scrum team
• Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict
• Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum
• Ability to figure out what is scrum and what is not
• Experience with successful Agile techniques
• Ability to work with and manage a team
• Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment
• Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
• Strong coaching and servant leadership skills to help teams handle work efforts. Must have excellent communication and team building skills. Help drive business value and results working with the product owner and the teams. Help mature the teams to be self-determined and motivated to continue delivering high results and expectations.
