**Position Description:**
CGI has an immediate need for a Scrum Master to join our financial services team in Columbia, SC; Lafayette, LA; Knoxville, TN; or Belton, TX. Due to the current COVID-19 status, candidates will not be required to work within the physical work location at this time. When COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, they will be required to be located within the proximity of the assigned CGI location. Scrum Masters in this area act as an effective change agents and senior level resources to improve the effectiveness of agile process by coaching programs and teams and to facilitate lean-agile adoption and maturity across Capital Markets. This role will champion improvement of adoption and continued improvement of agile, software engineering, and DevOps practices.? The Senior Scrum Master will support one or more delivery teams within a fast-paced application development environment. As the Senior Scrum Master, you will be a critical member of the core delivery team empowered to help build high performing teams, build shippable product, and be responsible for leading Agile transformation.
**Your future duties and responsibilities:**
Work within the core delivery team empowered/tasked with design, development, modification, and implementation of computer applications, and building high performing delivery teams.
Serve as an Agile Expert who is responsible and drives the team to deliver releases.
Engage stakeholders, contributors and technical resources to get stuff done.
Contribute and drive team to Agile Maturity goals and DEV OPS goals.
Manage multiple/concurrent work streams end-to-end. Utilize project coordination expertise and tools such as Rally, JIRA and MS-Project to support upstream and downstream teams throughout SDLC.
Facilitate the discussions of complex, high value IT delivery projects that require the coordination of development work or technology work on multiple platforms to achieve desired functionality.
Communicate committed stories for the upcoming sprint to backlog owners and stakeholders.
Facilitate scrum ceremonies for the team (Daily Stand-up, Planning, Retrospective, Grooming & Review/Demo).
Facilitate impediment resolution in a timely, cost effective manner.
Track and produce key metrics (e.g., burndown, burnup, cumulative flow, velocity, etc.)?

8+ years of software industry experience
6+ years of experience leading Agile Scrum teams/serving as a Scrum Master in a Large Scale enterprise environment.
Agile experience/knowledge of key agile techniques including SAFe, Kanban, Lean, XP, and Scrum
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills?
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical discipline.
Master's degree in technical discipline desired.
SAFE Certification desired
CSM Certification desired
AWS Certification?? desired???

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $75,600.00 - $165,300.00.
