Description
As a Scrum Master, you will act a servant-leader to one or more agile engineering teams. In this role you will work closely with engineers, product owner, business groups and customers to ensure teams are delivering to commitments with transparency throughout the project life cycle. You will also advocate and promote the Agile Values and Principles both within and across organizational boundaries.Ready to get in the driver's seat? Join us!What you'll doServe as Scrum Master for multiple engineering teams to reinforce Agile values and practices. Coach agile teams to function in a collaborative environment in which specific job roles and responsibilities are dynamic and shared across the cross-functional (design/develop/test) team.Proactively and critically analyze situations to identify technical and non-technical impediments.Guide teams on how to handle change and ensure Scrum processes are in place to effectively manage interrupts.Track and share Scrum iteration status through key indicators such as release burn down, sprint burn down, product health, interrupt and cumulative flow.Proactively remove or escalate impediments enabling Agile teams to operate in a "self-organizing" environment that embraces Scrum practices and principles.Guide scrum teams on capacity planning, velocity tracking, story sizing, burn down monitoring, and continuous improvement practices in a fast paced and delivery critical environment.Work with Product, Development and QA teams to resolve dependency conflicts.Promotes adoption, application and implementation of Agile values, principles and practices.Encourages and supports the rules of Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming and/or any Agile methods the team is actively practicing.Leverages KPIs and metrics to track progress toward the completion of sprint commitments and program-level objectives.Utilizes KPI's to identify and mitigate risks to team delivery and product quality.Facilitates scrum meetings including planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, product demos, and retrospectives.Supports product owners in their efforts to manage the team backlog and guide the team toward a healthy dynamic with respect to priorities and scope.Supports the team's journey towards continuous delivery, which includes technical practices that support continuous integration, continuous deployment, and on-demand releases.Facilitates readiness for program-level milestones that require coordination across multiple teams.This might describe youExperience in SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) using the agile methodology across multiple projects.Experience with implementing Agile methods with an understanding of Scrum and/or Kanban.Ability to make data-driven decisions for measuring and managing delivery.Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or other Agile team lead certification.Familiar with and experience in both SAFe and Scrum-of-Scrum practicesPreviously Scrum Mastered 3 or more software development and/or QA teams.Strong negotiation and influencing skills.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.Willing to work in a demanding results-oriented environment with high expectations of on time delivery.Ability to align team efficiency and continuous improvement metrics to organization goals and objectives.Familiarity of public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable.Other things to noteThis role can be worked from any U.S. remote location.Say hello to HagertyHagerty is an automotive enthusiast brand and the world's largest membership organization.
