Scrum Master job Description: Zachary Piper Solutions Currently Searching For A Full-time Scrum Master To Support Improvement Of The Army Integrated Personnel & Pay System (ipps-a), The Army's #1 It Priority, At The Program Office In Crystal City, Va. The Scrum Master Will Utilize An Agile Project Management Framework To Help The Ipps-a Work Together To Deliver Agreed Outcomes, Execute Product Enhancements, And Deliver Superior Customer Service. •The Ideal Candidate Will Coach The Scrum Team On How To Use Agile Practices And Principles To Deliver High Quality Products And Services To Our Customers.this Will Include Facilitating And Supporting All Scrum Events (sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, And Sprint Retrospective) With The Ultimate Objective Of Helping Achieve Higher Levels Of Scrum Maturity. •Additionally, The Scrum Master Will: •Ensure Scrum Is Understood, And The Team Adheres To Scrum Theory, Practice, And Guidelines •Work With Scrum Team, As Well As Internal And External Stakeholders, To Influence And Drive Decision Making And Support Organizational Project Or Product Teams •Resolve Conflicts, Remove Impediments, And Coach The Scrum Team On Overcoming Obstacles •Help The Scrum And Development Teams To Identify And Fill In Blanks In The Agile Framework •Support The Product Owner And Provide Education Where Needed Required Skills: • Possess A Department Of Defense Secret Clearance Or The Ability To Obtain One. • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science Or Related Field, And 10+ Total Years Of It Experience. A Combination Of Education And Experience, Including Military Service Will Also Be Considered. •5-8+ Years Of Federal Government Agile Delivery Experience And/or Recent Hands-on Experience As A Scrum Master. •Agile Certifications Such As Certified Scrum Master (csm), Or Other Equivalent Certifications (pmi Acp, Etc.). •Prior Experience On A Scrum Team With Knowledge Of Scrum Techniques •Experience With Successful Agile Techniques •Ability To Work With And Lead A Team And Resolve Conflict •Strong Communication, Interpersonal And Mentoring Skills •Ability To Think Quickly And Adapt To A Changing Environment compensation: -salary: $125,000 - $140,000 Based On Experience -competitive Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k
