Description
The scrum master will facilitate daily oversight of activities within the agile teams. They will work with Product Owners to ensure team members are working on the highest priority stories defined within the product roadmaps. They communicate progress, issues, and impediments to the Delivery Manager. The scrum master is empowered to coach, challenge, and enhance the behavior of the agile team to ensure quality, continuous flow, and incremental value delivery. The scrum master is responsible for onboarding new team members, maintaining the hygiene of the JIRA board, and release readiness and cutover activities. They will also prepare and present metrics that highlight the progress accomplished to achieve the team goals.You Will:Manage overall solution delivery and support for an agile teamOversee the daily oversight of the agile team activities, scheduling and facilitating ceremonies, and servant leadership to the agile teamManage outputs such as DoR, DoD, team level increment plans, test plans, goals, releases, sprint plans, goalsShape team behavior through excellent management with the agile methodologyEnsure the highest value stories and enablers are being prioritizedInfluence and coach the Product Owner on continuous delivery and ensure team members are working on the highest priority stories defined within their product roadmapsEnsure Systems Analysts and Product Owners collaborate on defining stories and enablers and are supported by the Sr. Systems AnalystsEmpowered to coach, challenge, and improve the behavior of the agile team to ensure quality, flow, and incremental value deliveryCommunicate progress, risks, and blockers with the Delivery ManagerEffectively prepare and present metrics that highlight the progress accomplished by Agile Teams (e.g., sprint burndown, burnup)Remove impediments that negatively affect the flow of the Agile teamEmbrace the unexpected and the process of solving problems/blockersOnboard new team members, maintaining the hygiene of the JIRA board, and release readiness and cutover activitiesParticipate in scrum of scrums for coordination across teamsOther duties as assignedYou Have:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other degrees2 + years of experience as a Scrum Master in information technology, Product Development or DeliveryScrum Master Certification requiredExperience with JIRA and Confluence strongly preferredFoundational project management skills within a matrix environmentIntegrated process orientation and communication within the Agile delivery teams and across product teamsAbility to facilitate meetings and lead teamsExcellent leadership, communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslyKnowledge of software development practices and methodologiesPassion for continuous learning and improvementAbility to travel up to 10% annuallyAt this time, we require applicants for this role to be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship either now or in the futureOur Modern Workplace:Conagra's culture of collaboration enhances our ability to meet critical business goals, deliver value to customers and consumers and provide you with the flexibility you need to achieve a better work-life balance.
