You will partner with product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers and delivery professionals to enhance Information Security controls to more effectively support our business partners in protecting Prudential data. You will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning focus to all that you do.Here is what you can expect on a typical dayCollaborate with product owners in understanding needs and defining feature stories, tech leads in defining technical design and other team members to understand the system end-to-end and deliver robust solutions that bring about business impact Bring an applied understanding of relevant and emerging technologies, begin to identify opportunities to provide input to the team and coach others, and embed learning and innovation in the day-to-day Work on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factorsEnsures the team(s) lives Agile values and principles and follow the processes and practices that they agreed-upon to deliver the committed solutionsResponsible for promoting and supporting Agile principles by helping everyone understand applied theories, practices, rules, and valueTrue servant leader who serves the team(s) and larger organizationSupports those outside the aligned team(s) to understand which of their interactions with the team(s) are effective and which aren't; helps everyone change these interactions to improve the value built by the Agile teamSupports all aspects of risk management and impediment resolutionFormal people leadership for a highly talented team of 7 Scrum MastersOperate with a high degree of autonomy and accountabilityThe Skills & Expertise You Bring Proven experience as a Scrum Master or comparable Agile delivery leadership roleLeverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts and perspectives to the benefit of the organization Experience with agile development methodologiesKnowledge of business concepts, tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's businessAbility to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challengesExcellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skillsApplied experience and/or deep expertise with several of the following:Familiarity and expertise with Agile principles and frameworks, including story writing and estimation, facilitation, and identification and implementation of continuous improvement (CI)Experience working and proficiency in performing the role of Scrum Master, including on teams charged with highly complex outcomes Expertise in facilitation and tracking of Objectives & Key Results (OKRs), prioritization, backlog refinement, and specialty workshops.Proven capabilities in: (i) delivery, (ii) reporting and metrics, (iii) Agile toolchains (Jira, Jira Align, Miro, etc.)Preferred QualificationsCertified Scrum Master certificationExperience in serving as a Scrum Master within the financial services industry on multiple teamsYou'll Love Working Here Because You Can:Join a team and culture where your voice matters; where every day, your work transforms our experiences to make lives better. The salary range for this role is from $93,200.00 to $138,600.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
