This position is onsite/hybrid/remote.

The selected candidate will perform the following duties:

Customer Experience (CX) department and its Product Teams work to transform the customer experience across client s brands and products. Teams work on varied systems and processes to develop business value, satisfy customers, and ultimately create promoters. We honor customer preferences, offer a personal touch, and value each interaction as a brand-appropriate relationship building opportunity.

The Scrum Master s (SM s) primary role is to help the Product Team work more effectively. With a focus on continuous improvement, the SM will work closely with the Product Owner and development team, leading the production support and enhancement of our customer- and dealer-facing digital products.

They will perform duties typical of a SM, including support the team s adherence to agile practices and values, coach team members on the use of agile methodologies to achieve agile maturity, remove impediments to help the team progress on their deliverables, identify areas of improvement, and propel the agile process ensuring Scrum ceremonies take place, are time boxed and are positive and productive.

The Scrum Master will support the Product Owner with product goal definition and backlog management and related documentation.

This position requires extensive collaboration and cross-functional communication with IT, AHM associates, consultants, contingent workforce, and vendors.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Delivery of business value through utilization of Scrum framework:

Facilitate medium to high complexity agile initiatives from initiation through release, providing oversight to ensure alignment with Scrum framework.

Evangelize Scrum best practices, and coach team members and the organization on the use of Scrum framework to plan, manage, and deliver high-quality digital solutions.

Support and empower the development team to make appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition.

Coordinate and lead monthly release management activities.

Create and/or maintain product documentation and artifacts to support delivery, collaboration, and governance.

Remain up to date with mandatory software updates, understanding existing systems, data, and processes.

Enable the agile team s efficacy:

Facilitate and support all Scrum events, including but not limited to Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.

Manage risk to delivery by identifying and removing impediments and external interruptions that distract the development team from delivering highest business value.

Examine and drive team performance leveraging metrics such as capacity, burn down, velocity, etc, and ensure accurate and timely feedback to the team and transparency to Product Owner and executive stakeholders.

Guide the team towards self-organization and cross-functionality; encourage, support, and enable the team to reach their full potential and abilities.

Challenge the team to continuously improve through intentional, data-driven inspection and adaption (retrospectives).

Identify and act on opportunities for continuous improvement to improve agile maturity.

Support the Product Owner s partnership with other teams and stakeholders:

Collaborate with the Product Owner to define and prioritize the product backlog, as well as ensure that it is visible, transparent, and understood by the development team.

Partner with the Product Owner to engage key stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making.

Negotiate with external stakeholders, other product teams, partner resources to facilitate the removal of impediments.

Support the Product Owner with meetings, building connections, building innovative solutions that contribute towards stakeholder business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

Bachelor s degree or requisite experience, training or coursework in agile development, innovation, and process management.

Scrum Master certification.

Minimum Experience:

Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.

Expert understanding of Scrum framework, or other related agile methodologies.

Demonstrated experience working with agile teams delivering digital solutions.

Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with AHM staff, IT staff, 3rd party vendor staff across many teams.

Proficiency with Jira or similar agile management tools.

Scaled Agile (SAFe) practitioner with experience in enterprise agile transformations is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of management.

Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers as well as non-technical and technical personnel.

Other Job-Specific:

Experience managing delivery of Salesforce projects (which may include Service, Sales, Commerce, Communities, and/or Marketing Cloud).

Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) for sales leads management.

Experience with customer-centric goals and objectives (i.e., net promoter system) as a source for continuous improvement.

Automotive / Dealership/ Sales experience is a plus.

Digital Product Planning Senior Leader, CX Dept Leaders & Customer Experience AVP supporting the customer experience enterprise leaders in building consensus, impediment identification management.

Product Owner refine backlog, prioritize work for each sprint, mitigate impediments.

Stakeholder Executives and Leaders through Executive Steering Committee and/or as needed to update on progress of specific theme projects, gain support and approvals.

Various Department/Division managers as needed to provide information, collaboration, issue resolution and support idea generation

Collaboration and partnership with other U.S. and global client entities for mutual benefit and enterprise advancement.

External Contacts

External consultants/agencies TBD based on team output

Support product owner with external IT vendors/integrators to ensure IT delivers business requirements aligned to CX building on integrated Salesforce platform

Align product KPIs to organization objectives and key results. Establish and track KPIs to demonstrate impact to revenue, customer experience, retention, etc.

Track Product budget and ensure costs are in line.

With Product Owner, prioritize and deliver on backlog items to bring quantifiable business benefit to client.

Align Product KPIs with company objectives and key results. Provide regular reporting on the Product Team s P&L successes to leaders.
