Job Description:
The Scrum Master will lead and facilitate key routines in the agile discipline (stand-ups, retrospectives, etc.); manage features, stories, success criteria, tasks and hours in Rally; assist with story grooming and back-log management; manage team capacity and velocity to optimize iterations; focus the team on the business outcomes; track burn downs, optimize cumulative flow, scheduling and dependencies; scrum team and agile coaching as needed, team assessments and improvement plans; driving team velocity and consistency; coordinates resources within their agile team and collaborates across other agile teams; PI Planning. Partner with the Product Owner and Dev Lead(s) to ensure alignment of tangible short-term deliverables and business outcomes.
Expected to work with Product Owners and technology teams to build a sustainable long-term road map to improve the planning and execution model. Effectively communicate with managers, peers, and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed.
As a leader on the team, fostering a positive culture focused on delivery and self-improvement.
Required Skills:

8+ years in a technical solution delivery role.
-
5+ years of practical agile experience.
-
Expert level understanding of lean-agile principles and frameworks; including some level of agile coaching.
-
Certified Scrum Master.
-
Experience with metrics gathering/reporting and formulating action plans based on the data.
-
Excellent leadership, coaching, negotiation, facilitation, collaboration, presentation & training skills.
-
Ability to speak to both technical and business concerns.
-
Must be comfortable giving feedback to the team on how they can improve in their Agile implementation.
-
Must be flexible and support tasks other than Scrum Master should the need arise.
-
Must be detailed-oriented, results-driven, highly energetic and motivated.

Must have a high degree of independence and autonomy.

This position is responsible for thorough, high quality deliverables utilizing best practices in agile.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
