Our growing client is seeking a Scrum Master who is flexible, highly efficient, and continuously adapting and improving team process to maximize and maintain sustainable team efficiency and productivity as we build and improve products and deliver services. This position facilitates agile teams through coaching and communicating agile methodologies. They work cross-functionally through the company to ensure delivered projects and services are effectively developed and deployed with quality and on time delivery. By design, the Scrum Master has no people management responsibilities. Key accountabilities for this position include serving as a servant leader and mentor and for removing impediments in order to keep the team focused on delivering value.

What will you do?

- Facilitates and enables the agile processes across teams and serves as the agile coach and mentor

- Serves as coach and advisor to team members to facilitate discussion and minimize conflict within the team

- Facilitates and maintains agile process and understands the methodology, serving as a subject matter expert on agile processes

- Ensures open communication within the team and from the team, eliciting transparency and cross-team coordination

- Ensures consistent project management delivery across all areas

- Establishes and leads projects, ensuring the proper focus on process, delivery, and quality across all projects

- Partners with other internal teams to ensure all company processes run as efficiently as possible

- Ensures the efficiency and consistency of each agile team through identifying and addressing any challenges that negatively impact team productivity

- Ensures teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility

Stakeholder Relationship Management: 

- Collaborates with Information Technology teams and business stakeholders to identify new opportunities for software innovation

- Acts as the primary interface to stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of business vision, requirements and feature needs

- Creates, maintains, prioritizes, and sequences the product backlog based on business value or ROI from which the team will execute

- Conveys the business vision and goals associated with the product to the project team in order to ensure that delivery is focused on business value

- Collaborates with business stakeholders as well as the project team to create and maintain release roadmaps based on projected team velocity, estimated size of features, and business priority
