Title: Scrum Master

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 months

Qualifications:
There are 3 openings. Can work anywhere in US Yes, it is likely that this role will be 100% remote, but situationally may require coming into the office on a rare occasion -- never say never. Banking experience is preferred, of which, Large Financial Institution (LFI) is further preferred, but not required. Looking for a strong Agile -- Scrum Master who can facilitate Sprints with ease, and who can communicate very well. Security experience is also a plus.

Responsibilities:
As an Agile expert, the Scrum Master will provide effective leadership, collaboration and facilitation skills to ensure synergy amongst team members in accordance with objectives.

· Strong facilitation throughout entire Agile process (i.e., sprint planning to retrospective), iteratively, ensuring timely delivery and value extraction.

· Said role must be strong conceptually and fundamentally regarding both Security and Technology in collaboration across Security teams and other parts of the organization.

· Expert in JIRA using both Kanban and Scrum boards, as well as management of Backlog and subsequent Scrums/Sprints to include administering issues (e.g., Stories, Tasks, Sub-Tasks).

· Support Agile-based SDLC creating necessary standards, tools and best practices, documenting and facilitating daily via stand-up meetings or otherwise.

· Support functional managers and other key roles, as necessary, assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and the relaying of information.

· Assist team with making appropriate commitments through story selection, task definition.

· Identify and own impediments that may prevent team members from meeting objectives.

· Empower team to self-organize, while balancing process efficiency and effectiveness.

· Participate in the organization and planning of work to include identifying platform dependencies, major milestones, while managing said user stories and schedules ensuring adherence to budget, scope, schedule, and quality parameters.

· Adapt scope, schedule, and resource allocation, as necessary, throughout said process to respond to emerging requirements and applicable risk responses.

· Bachelor’s degree and Scrum Master certification required, higher level education preferred.
