As a Scrum Master, you'll ensure your teams' delivery success by leveraging the appropriate Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) to enable predictable, quality delivery while maintaining a focus on the continuous improvement of the team. The Scrum Master will facilitate the optimization of team productivity by removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's goals and by preserving flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes while building a team culture of continuous improvement and experimentation.

HYBRID- RICHMOND VA

Responsibilities:

• Plan, track and manage the department review backlog for development including understanding task scope and timeline
• Coordinate all sprint related meetings (daily scrum, sprint planning, refinement, retrospective, sprint review and any other meetings required)
• Create and manage boards and sprints/sprint dates in Jira
• Assign work to appropriate sprints based on deadlines and priorities
• Proactively reach out on active development tasks to help remove obstacles and maintain forward progress to help ensure the sprint success
• Work with stakeholders and team maintain an agreed upon and documented workflow for tasks through the development lifecycle
• Lead proactive and effective teamwork by example with enthusiasm, positive interactions, appreciation of team member's contributions, and assisting others
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to identify needs, receive feedback, and evaluate alternative business solutions to promote project satisfaction

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Scrum Master (or comparable certification)
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience working with Jira Software
• Knowledge of or experience in supply chain management
